To get ahead in the fast casual game, you have to stand out. Smashburger wanted to find a look and an attitude that would help them rise above the burger competition. We added confidence and swagger to the way they spoke and a brighter, handcrafted feel to the way they looked. We made a lot of stuff but below are some of my favorites, mostly centered around what you would see if you visited a Smashburger.

Unfortunately, this work didn’t get made, even though it was bought. Smashburger had some ownership shake-ups after they bought into this work and our test stores with these designs were not completed. Them’s the breaks but it’s still cool work.
